Sue Harvey’s first Boxer was from Finemere stock but it was Normlin Free Fancy, bought in the early 1960’s, who was the true foundation of the Faerdorns. This well bred daughter of Ch Summerdale Normlin Freelancer was mated to Connie Wiley’s influential Ch Wardrobes Autumn Haze of Amerglo and produced Faerdorn Gay Enchantment who in turn was put back to her grand-sire Ch Freelancer and Ch Faerdorn Truly Scrumptious was the result.

In time Ch Truly Scrumptious was mated to the great Int Ch Seefeld Picasso which resulted in Ch Faerdorn Truly Gorgeous who produced Ch Gold Bangle of Panfield which gave Sue the distinction of being the first to breed three generations of champion bitches in direct line.

Ch Truly Gorgeous was mated to the U.S. import Winuwuk Milrays Red Baron of Valvay and this resulted in Faerdorn Ginger ’n’ Spice who was put to Ch Tyegarth Famous Grouse and the great winning Ch Faerdorn Pheasant Plucker was born!
Ch Faerdorn Pheasant Plucker scaled the heights and took Best in Show All Breeds at the S.K.C in 1984. He also enjoyed a very successful stud career.
